The more I give to God, the more doors He opens. To live in full surrender is to put God as my first priority in all areas. It’s physically letting go of my current stressor (shopping for a house) and letting God lead me where I need to go.

Full surrender is a hard concept to explain to someone that is gripping every area of their live. It can feel as if God loves certain people more than others. But the truth is, God loves us all as His children. He wants to bless every aspect of our lives and really live with us day in and day out. When we hold so tightly to minor details of our lives, God doesn’t have room to work out the kinks. Thus the feeling of not being blessed.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, ⁷ casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:6-7
