“Beep Beep Beep” your alarm clock blares urging you to rise and start your day. Sunlight bursts through your windows igniting the already painful morning. Zombie like, you go about your morning completing daily tasks. Comb hair, check. Brush teeth, check. Coffee, check. Breakfast, check.
Start your engines and get ready for that excruciating traffic. Go go go. Hurry up and wait. Is this what life has really succumb too? Sitting in lines of sheeple so focused on beating the time clock they miss the world around them?
God never created us to simply be workforce puppets. He made the sun, the moon, the earth, the galaxy, for you. He painted the sky, filled the oceans, told the birds to sing for you.
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it,” PSALM 118:24.
Take time today and look at the world. Every tiny detail from the clouds in the sky to the weeds in the grass was hand crafted. Are you rejoicing in the day that you were given?
