riverToday’s prompts:

  • Think of something in your life that you want more clarity on right now:
  • What is the path of least resistance?
  • How can you flow with it, like a river?

Think of something in your life that you want more clarity on right now: Where God is leading me in my relationships.

What is the path of least resistance? Generally in my life, the path of least resistance can be categorized two ways. It can be the path God is leading me down with my complete surrender to his guidance. Or, it can be the path of wrong decision.

From personal experience, when I begin to start doing the right thing, I have ten fingers telling me I’m not good enough. There’s always a friends willing to challenge me on my convictions and attempt to embarrass me on my decisions.

One example is my association. Yes, I have many acquaintances. However, many of the people I may know will not help me achieve the future of my dreams. I refuse to associate with individuals who don’t have a life I want. To many of my friends, it seems like I’ve disappeared, but I’m choosing to use my time more productively instead of wasting time “going out” every night. God is calling me to move mountains and it’s not going to be an easy feat. I’ll need all the help I can get, but it’s not going to be the negative people who will assist me on my path.

How can you flow with it, like a river? I can just embrace the rushing water pouring into my stream and surrender to where God is carrying me. When I allow Him to be the driver of my life, I can rest assure we will only detour to the most important pit stops.

“Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!” – Psalm 40:4
