Ways I bring creativity into my life are through everyday experiences. From the outfits I choose to the foods I eat, my creativity and personality should show through everything that I do. Individualism is something I believe people take for granted. This doesn’t mean putting yourself on a pedestal because you’re SO different that no one can relate. By individualism, I’m referring to the aspect of diversity society tells us to ignore. From tabloids to videos, we’re fed what we should like, eat and look like. It leaves no room to embrace what really makes each of us unique. Whether you have unmanageable hair or an obnoxious laugh, it’s these quirky characteristics that define who you are.

Ways I bring creativity into the lives of people I love is through gifts. I might just love other people’s birthdays more than my own. Although buying awesome high-tech gifts are great, to me there’s nothing special about receiving yet another pair of Beats headphones. But when I bling out the speakers and leave a message, I channel my creativity by leaving a little piece of myself.

I tap into my creative fountain by letting my quirkiness flow. I allow my weirdness to shine and my personality to blossom. I don’t impose judgement but instead try to just live in the creative moment.

My talents include: determination, perseverance, flexibility, love, kindness, empathy, writing, logical thinking, designing, public speaking…

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;  if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.” Romans 12:6 – 8
