Today’s prompt isn’t your average bullet points of ideas to explore. Instead I’ve been asked to explore the limitations I place on myself. I’m listing all of the rules I should be ignoring.

 

Act Normal

How boring would a life of normality be, acting just like everyone else? I don’t want to hide my quirks or my weirdness. I refuse to follow this rule.

Be Fearful

“The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1

Don’t Be Messy

Trying to get everything neat and clean, especially when creating, is the best way to make junk. Picasso didn’t create masterpieces by coloring in the lines.

Always Think Before You Speak

When you think too much, you allow the anxiety to outweigh the courage. Just do it. When you know you have something to say, say it with love. Don’t hold back.

Be Careful

Take risks. How will you every make it to the other side if you’re not willing to risk everything to get there?
