Write a love letter or post card to that water, thanking it for something.

Do you remember that awesome trip to the Bahamas where I met you for the first time? Where I got to explore your insanely blue waters and white sandy beaches? I remember it like it was yesterday. Feeling free, swimming through the warm waves and peering at the growing sea life below.

Thank you for a memory I will never forget.

The waters that nourish me are the spiritual waters. “Man cannot live on bread alone,” (Matthew 4:4).

The waters that cleanse me is the water of baptism. When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river, he changed the face of salvation. No longer were we separated from God. By the baptismal waters we were filled with the Holy Spirit and given a direct connection with God.
