What’s Up Wednesday

Happy Wednesday and Thanksgiving Eve! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving came so quickly. One minute we were trick-or-treating and the next we’re carving a turkey! With all that being said, I am thankful to have supportive family and friends. So, let’s get into the midweek update.

Feelin’ like a Baller

As you may have read previously, I’ve been freelancing for the last few weeks. At first, I was so nervous. I didn’t know if I could really make money to support my family. But I have! No, I haven’t quite hit my previous full time job paychecks but I definitely can help with the bills. I’ve completed a variety of jobs and still have more lined up! I’m so excited to see who I can help next and am working hard to build my client list. Whether it’s social media, graphic design, website management or just general marketing help, I am ready and available to get to work. (Work with Me here)

I am currently obsessing over “Fighting for me” by Riley Clemmons. The lyrics are so powerful and the video is even more beautiful. In the song she explains how no situation is too big for God. He never stops fighting for us. During my current season of life, I needed to hear this more than anything. I didn’t think I’d find myself working from home so soon. But I know that God has a clear plan for me and every moment of it is for my good.

In the past couple months, I’ve been going back through my bookshelf. I’m an avid reader and really enjoy absorbing myself in series. One of my favorites is the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I started this series so long when my Nana bought me the first book. Now, five books in, I’m still hooked. The funny thing is, I thought that I had finished the series and just found out I have FOUR more books to read. I was pleasantly surprised and have jumped into <a href=”http://<a target=”_blank” href=”″>Angel A Maximum Ride Novel</a>""Angel: A Maximum Ride<a href=”http://<a target=”_blank” href=”″>Angel A Maximum Ride Novel</a>"" Novel. If you’re looking for an exciting read, I definitely recommend this series.

New Recipes

Working with a budget, I’ve been trying to maximize our grocery list with Instant Pot recipes. Some have come out better than others, but overall they’ve been a success! Check some of them out below.

Bacon, Potato, & Egg Casserole (1), Lasagna (2) and Swedish Meatballs (3).

That’s it for me! Can’t wait to cook some delicious food tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving!
