One of the newest attractions to hit the Strip is Top Golf Las Vegas. This four-story complex features two pools, 108 climate-controlled bays, five bars, shuffle board, viewing screens, a concert venue, meeting rooms and a Topgolf Pro Shop.
I was lucky enough to enjoy a night on the house for their Industry Night. A group of us gathered our heavy winter coats and best golf swings and headed to the range.
The driving experience is a little different from your basic range. The field is covered with colored pods (red, yellow, blue and white) that are divided into several points. The object of the game is to make your ball into the net to earn points. The further you hit the ball, the more points you can earn.
My golfing experiences are extremely limited to miniature golf. So this driving range was a whole new adventure. Surprisingly, my husband is borderline pro and showed me up completely. Still, by round two, I managed to get 30 points!
Topgolf Las Vegas is located at the MGM Grand and open daily at 9 a.m. Prices start at $30 per bay and each bay can hold up to 6 players.
If you haven’t stopped by, give it a shot. It’s perfect for all ages, but I’d highly recommend going during the warmer part of the day. We were freezing even with the dual heaters running.
