Consumed by Faith

prayI get distracted. I sometimes have the “Squirrel!” syndrome. I find myself absorbed in areas of my life that will not lead to prosperity. It could be something as simple as binge watching my favorite shows or spending too much time on social media. When I’ve been focusing on the wrong thing, I feel myself grow weary and deprived.

I want to live like David. I want to be so consumed in my faith and my relationship with God that nothing can distract me. I want to focus only on his word and let that be the guiding for my day.

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” – Psalm 119:105

I’ve decided to challenge myself. To teach myself how to be more consumed in the word.

This challenge is great for you too. Don’t worry if you don’t know that words to say. When in doubt, pray (no rhyming intended).
