Each year, billions of people make a resolution for the upcoming 365 days. Only a fraction of those same people actually keep it. Maybe the reason so many individuals fail is their making the wrong resolution.
I find myself getting writers block or a hand cramp trying to write the story of my life. New Year’s resolutions are just another excuse to try and fail at a frivolous goal.
What I learned in 2015 was, constantly trying to fix my own life is exhausting and never works. Once I started trusting God with the important stuff, I easily resolved my goal of being happier. I quickly became lest stressed. I enjoyed life more and loved more. God is the secret ingredient missing from accomplishing anything.
“…With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26
So do yourself a favor this new year’s; lay down your pen and do what you should have done a year ago. Let God be the author.
