Where does your peace come from? Is it from those moments when you stare at the sky and watch the clouds change? Is it watching the ocean as the waters calm?

Peace can be found in every moment of everyday. Although at first glance peace appears to be a world created solution to make it from one chaotic moment to the next. This peace is temporary. As soon as you take your eyes from the rippling waves, life’s expectations come raining down returning with fear, frustration and anxiety.

So the better question is, where does everlasting peace come from?

God has provided us a direct connection to perfect peace; his name is Jesus Christ. In order to receive this peace, we must develop a relationship with Jesus. And just like any human relationship, this will also need much attention and humility to blossom.

“His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father; Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
