Scriptures to Get Through Rough Days

Some days seems to fly by while others appear never-ending. For those days that I am struggling to make it, I have few go to scriptures that encourage me to push through. Whether you’re struggling with a person or a feeling, I hope these will help remind you that God loves you and always offers a helping hand.

Proverbs 3:5

“Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.”

Isaiah 41:10

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

1 Peter 3:9

“Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.”

Isaiah 43:25

“I-yes-I alone- will blot out your sins for me own sake and will never think of them again.”

Hebrews 11:1

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

Those are all great! Isaiah 41:10 is one of my all time favorite verses (the whole book is one of my favorites, if we’re being honest). I’m always rotating through some that I read throughout the day and, right now, I’m loving 2 Thessalonians 3:16 – “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
